Light for the World

Light for the World is an international disability and development NGO working in 20 countries, dedicated to the restoration of eyesight, prevention of blindness, rehabilitation of persons with disabilities, inclusive education and promotion of their human rights.

‟Although it was initially intended to be used as an M&E and data management tool just for the MERLA department at the Light for the World headquarters in Vienna, ActivityInfo soon became a tool of choice for many country offices which started creating databases in the platform to manage data related to daily reporting. As country offices can independently create databases and work on them, the use of the platform expanded from global reporting to monitoring activities within countries.
